Turning Life Struggles into a Ministry for God
by Xavia Bree Alloway
God doesn’t expect us to do anything but, to accept His love. The thing we have to do to accept Him, is to learn more about Him and pay attention to His work in our lives. Me learning about the work of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit allowed me to free myself from the expectations and allowed me to live in peace as God designed and created me to be. He doesn’t want me rushing through my day, being overly productive, reaching to achieve that next goal and not enjoying life, listening, and learning from Him while at the same time getting a chance to serve Him by showing His love to others. What a blessing to be able to release all expectations to do what God puts on your plate today while He provides for you, protects you, and loves you. A birth to death love affair for the ages.
I Thought It was CUTE
by Xavia Bree Alloway
Young and immature: we all have been there. We ignored the adults around us. Then skipped our merry way on to our foolish folly. The wall hits! Reality crashes down on your head! It becomes the task to straighten back out and repair the mess that remains. What is the way forward? The advice is gone, only your consequences remain.

Jesus knows that our lives will already include suffering that will be challenging enough for us. To add in personal self sabotage and self afflictions to weigh our burden down more is unnecessary. He gives us guidance for how to overcome both though. He knows He gave us free will and we will choose that painful path repeatedly. He knew he needed to live on earth, die on a cross, and rise again for us to have a pathway back to God.

Completing Me
by x. b. alloway
Remember life at nine years old. The simplicity of childhood starts to open up into a larger awareness of the world and one's place in it. This can be both exciting and overwhelming, and feelings of isolation and confusion are common. In this unique poetic conception, X. B. Alloway returns to the experiences and memories of her nine-year-old self with poems about first love, conflict with parents and siblings, the transition from elementary to middle school, and other themes preteens will relate to, helping them to see that they are not alone.
Alloway's poems are imbued with her hindsight wisdom while remaining true to the tone and questions of a nine-year-old. Ultimately her message is an essential one for people of all ages: No matter what you're going through, it always gets better. You just have to take life day by day, moment by moment, and poem by poem.
Fall Back Part 1 & 2
by x. b. alloway
Fall Back is about the story of my life through the eyes of my ten old self. I was facing things I felt was so major at the time. I remember some of it so clearly until this day. My goal is to share my story to the ones around children of a similar age. I have much more poetry that I begin to continue publishing to share with the public. This will help our youth to know they are not alone. It is important for them to know that the emotions they feel now won't last always. It gets better. There is a light. You have to take life day by day, moment by moment, and poem by poem.
